Secretary
David Tomlinson |
David Tomlinson is a Methodist, worshiping at the Bolton Methodist Mission. He has been married for 45 years, and has three children and 4 grandchildren. A Food Technologist by profession, he spent 45 years working in the food industry as a general manager, and latterly for Warburtons the Bakers as Technical Director. He is currently a non executive director of three companies and has been a Trustee of a national adoption charity for 15 years and still manages to run 20 mile per week!
Since 2005 he has been Chair of Greater Manchester Industrial Mission which supports and manages Chaplains in both retail and industrial sectors.
David has been involved with SCORE since 2002, firstly as a business advisor and then as a Trustee. He considers that small Christian charities should have strong links with the community and a professional/businesslike approach in both planning and practice.
He passionately believes in bringing Christ's message alive to those un-touched by the church in their daily lives!

Treasurer
John Fell
|
John Fell acts as Honorary Treasurer, ably assisted by David Nelson, SCORE's Book-keeper, and is probably the least "sporting" of the Trustees. Having been brought up in Blackpool you can understand why I am known for lazing round in the hot sun rather than indulging in sporting activities. I am a Chartered Accountant who has spent a considerable amount of my career assisting Charities in making sure their accounts and financial affairs are kept under close scrutiny to comply with the increasing amount of legislation and regulation. Nevertheless I try to make sure that the information is presented in as user-friendly manner as possible and to match the figures with some intelligible words.
