A Message from Our Chair
I count it a privilege to serve SCORE as the Chair of the Management Committee. I have served on that committee for over 7 years, and since the 2006 AGM as its chair. Please read this annual review. I hope from it, you will catch the sort of enthusiasm I have for SCORE. It is an amazing ministry, and has grown remarkably since being granted registered charitable status in 1991.
Moreover, many sports and sports personalities have come to appreciate the worth and value of a chaplaincy presence. Chaplains do a real job, delivered with sensitivity and professionalism. They are not involved to get free tickets or to satisfy an inflated ego, but to serve and support all members of staff at the club. And those clubs span many sports – Association Football, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Horse Racing, County Cricket, Athletics and Motor Sports. We also have a specialist serving women in sport!

There was considerable gratitude expressed for the work done by SCORE in provision of chaplaincy throughout the Commonwealth Games. People were impressed by the quality of the team involved, the breadth of provision.... So thank you SCORE for a massive contribution to the games.
