There is no doubt that our club chaplain, Malcolm Lorrimer, has performed a very valuable service at the club. For players, he almost acts as a mentor. With the rest of the staff, he has offered real support for those who have suffered bereavement or just need someone to talk to. In todays helter-skelter world, a voice of calmness can be inspiring and invigorating.

NAVIGATION SCORE: Chaplaincy for Women in Sport  Headlines

 SCORE Women in Sport

SCORE is committed to supporting women in sport, and particularly women's sport; often the poor relation in the sporting world.

Sadly SCORE experienced this as a reality, when Revd Mary Vickers who was SCORE's Chaplaincy Coordinator for Women in Sport resigned from that position due to lack of funding. Nevertheless SCORE is still seeking to build on the work Mary started.

Within women's sport a chaplaincy has been established to the Scotland Women's Rugby Union squad, and there are other possibilities in women's football.

If you are interested in being involved in this area or are involved in women's sport and interested in having a chaplain, please get in touch through the website.
